I find that the concept of boudoir photography is largely misunderstood.
Originally referred to a woman’s private dressing room, it has taken on too literate of an interpretation for today’s day and age.
A modern woman does not just sit in front of the mirror in her room or lie on the bed while looking out of the window. Those scenes feel stale and overused.
My style of Boudoir Photography
is more unpredictable in its composition.
It provokes a fantasy, an invitation for play, a daring display of self-confidence.
The trick is that it has to look effortless, otherwise it runs the risk of looking ostentatious.
another misconception is that provocative photography is somehow morally corrupt.
As an adult, there is nothing questionable about being able to express yourself freely as a sexual being.
It doesn’t have to be on public display-
that is a matter of personal choice.
However, to feel her most powerful self, be irresistible to her husband, boyfriend, a partner - a woman should feel comfortable in her own skin, and there is nothing more empowering than seeing yourself look stunning and desirable in these very private photos which can be shared with your significant other.
It definitely spices up the relationship!
